TODAY: CAW President Ken Lewenza to Deliver Election Speech in London and Kitchener

LONDON / KITCHENER, ON, Sept. 19, 2011 /CNW/ - CAW National President Ken Lewenza will deliver a pre-election rallying speech to CAW members in the London area this afternoon and Kitchener-Waterloo this evening, at a meeting to plan and execute the union's Ontario election strategy.

The CAW is encouraging members to defeat the threat of a possible Tim Hudak Conservative government, which the CAW believes would have a hugely detrimental impact on workers, the economy and important public services like health care and education as well as the future of good, sustainable jobs in the province.
